About "Us," "We," and "Our"
The longer you live, the more you learn about life, and the longer you are married the more you learn about marriage, if open to learning. I'm grateful for the things the Lord had shown me recently through several sources all coming together for one good direction. I guess (well, it's not up to me to decide if it's true) that if "you trust in the Lord with your heart, he will direct your paths." That is a promise. So the longer I am married, the more I learn that marriage really is about "us," "we," and "our" - not those pronouns in the singular. I am just grateful for it and wanted to show honor to God through this and thankfulness to Him.
Elaborating on the "several sources" which were all coming together for one good direction, I say one thing that happened before I started realizing my heart was not where it was supposed to be was me keep thinking and daydreaming of owning a home-business selling something when we did not need the money. Another thing, regarding not viewing marriage correctly, and realizing I have been rather selfish to think about these home businesses, is a recent facebook post I read, someone announcing a divorce process about to begin, speaking of their soon-to-be ex-husband that "It's about him, not us." It convicted me that when I daydream about a home business when we do not need to money, it is really just about me, not "us."

These are some good thoughts! So much of the battle is won or lost in our minds. When I let my mind wander or dwell on things that satisfy me, I am not attentive to the needs of my family.
