My
husband loves me and supports me in his and my marriage. While my husband is at work, he is working to
pay for my welfare: food, clothes, bills, etc.
A
way to encourage my husband, I think, is to have a goal and purpose that is a
little beyond the basic needs. It is
something to give a bit more excitement to his day to go to work and to come
home to see how it’s going. Examples of
goals I am thinking about that both me and my husband can be pleased about (all
while he is going to work week after week) are projects such as
cleaning/organizing the house, a weight loss or nutritional goal. The goals do not have to have anything to do
with finances. Generally, men are glad to
take care of the finances. Sometimes, a
husband will just want to get his mind off that and come home to his wife.
My
husband tries to make Christ his source of happiness, but why not add a little
excitement to his days and his life which he can want to know about when he
comes home and some motivation to my life through a few goals, benefitting us
both?
Something
I’m learning is consistency. I’m
pregnant again, and my husband knows it’s important for me to strengthen my
abdominal muscles. I have found an
abdominal workout for pregnant woman on the internet and have been trying to be
consistent doing the exercises every single day! It is really fulfilling as consistency is
something I know I have needed to learn in this area, as well as several others.
